For many years, U-channel was the most common way to attach stationary glass panels to tile and other surfaces. There is nothing wrong with U-Channel, as it is economical and durable, but in recent years the use of mini-channel or “clips” has risen in popularity for its minimalist appearance and aesthetic qualities.
